First EP Project

Hey everyone, I have very exciting things going on right now!

Along with traveling and doing a bunch of new things like snowboarding and jet skiing, but...I am working on my first ever EP. Now for those of you that don't know what an "EP" is, its a short album of full songs that you use to find people that like the same music you make. You can send it to record labels, gives you material to do shows with original music.

To make an EP, or what I am planning on doing

1. Writing 4-7 songs

• I've already written my songs for my EP.

• Song 1 - I Just Wanna Be Me - A song about my own personal struggle to be free to be myself. Standing strong in who I am and being confident.

• Song 2 - Dancing in the street - A song about being so in love with someone that they make you wanna dance in the street

• Song 3 - Mystery of Me - A song having someone that likes you figure you out. Having them find what makes you tick and trusting them with everything that makes you, you.

• Song 4 - Stressed Out - A song about how as people so tapped into society and social status, me included, we stress ourselves out trying to live up to what up everyone wants us to be. Having more money and nice cars, yet still we are unhappy.

• Song 5 - All I have to give - A song about giving all of you to someone, broken and everything.

• Song 6 - Release my Heart - A song about asking the person you loved to release there hold over you because even all the bad stuff they did to you, they still have your heart.

• Song 7 - We're Just People - A song that states no matter who we are, where we come from and what we do. We are just people.

2. Make music for every song

• I've made demos for each song to the best of my ability

• Some times you can send it to other producers to make it better

3. Record your vocals over the music

• Make sure you have a good mic if you wanna recorded from home

• Use a studio to record your vocals

4. Mix and Master it

• Do it yourself, make it sound the best it can be

• Hire a professional, different ears here different things

5. Release it

• Make a plan to market

• Or just let the wind carry it

6. Have Fun Doing it and don't be afraid because you love it

I am raising money for my first EP. These songs are about things I've seen, experienced and felt like as a human being. The special thing about all these songs is they all have very personal meaning to me and what I was going through myself. However, when I got a chance to look at the world around me, I could see that the same thing was happening to everyone. I could see that it's not just me dealing with growing up in this world, but at the very core, just dealing with what it is to be human.  So this is how I fell in love with music and why I wanted to make this EP.
